The Asia LED Wall / Semi-Flushmount from Contardi Lighting is a piece of functional decoration, calling to mind the pointed hats of Chinese rice pickers. Creator Federico Peri designs with function and context in mind. This piece gives one flexibility in mounting with a wall or ceiling gracing backplate. Just as a pointed hat directs light away from one, so does this piece’s cone shade. Peri references the fine texture of the traditional hats with an elegant fabric construction. LEDs resting inside a glass globe spread their clean and soft light out.
