The Discovery Space LED Linear Suspension from Artemide it’s a refined addition to the modern home as a geometric piece with an impossibly slim profile. This vertically or horizontally suspending piece serves as a classic top-down presence or divides a room. At one moment, the metal trimmed piece is a clear shape, and in the other, it’s a radiant opaque one. To create the image, LEDs shine through a PMMA surface filled with optical fibers, a technical marvel falling in line with designer Ernesto Gidmondi’s aeronautical and aerospace background. The edge-to-edge glow flows through the room, making it more inviting and sophisticated.
