The design of the Sfera Pendant by Hubbardton Forge was inspired in part by fireflies captured in a jar. And indeed, the configuration of petite bulbs visible within the substantial glass globe, and their warm twinkle, do evoke the ephemeral flash of lightning bugs. The metal structure that powers the bulbs adds an element of modern industrial design, and it provides a secure suspension for the shade over a dining table or kitchen island.
