Innovative and creative, the Piknik LED Table Lamp is the result of a competition organized for young designers by the design collective, Surtido and LZF Lamps. The designers and winners were Belén Moratalla, Cristina Planells, and Inelén Ort&iactue;, who at the time made up the design studio Macalula.
Incorporating new, cutting-edge technology while still remaining true to LZF's iconic style, the Piknik LED Table Lamp is a true portable lamp as it is easily transported, letting you take the light with you. Made from steel, the base of this modern table lamp houses a rechargeable battery and USB charging port. Attached to the base is the top handle which arches over the cylindrical-shaped shade. The tubular lampshade is made from veneer and conceals the LED light source. The shade also hangs freely allowing it to rock back and forth by movement or a breeze, creating a candle-like effect that adds a soft, poetic touch to the table lamp. Lightweight and portable, this decorative table lamp is perfect in a kid's room, living room, bedroom, or where ever extra light is needed.
