Agatha Ball Pendant Light
Design by Luis Eslava Studio, 2011.
Made in Spain, by LZF.
Was it Murder on the Orient Express, or Death on the Nile that captured the imagination of designer Luis Eslava? Whatever the case, he became enamoured with novelist Agatha Christie, and chose to celebrate her murder-mystery tomes with this equally mysterious lamp named in her honour. And while Christie weaves an intriguing tale, Eslava has woven a captivating piece of light-art that asks us only one curly question: Was it the butler?
Lzf's veneers are selected to give the best wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material with out sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated.
