The PAR 38 spotlight (PAR an acronym for parabolic aluminized reflector light to the uninitiated) was the inspiration for the streamlined shape of the Par pendant, designed by Broberg and Ridderstrale, with its slim top section and flirty skirt of a shade. Though this fixture is shaped like a bulb, its attributes stream far beyond the act of illumination with its glare-free molten glass lens that reflects even light.
